VALLEY MOSQUE FORUM (TVMF) AUGUST 2008 MEETING AT AL-HIRA SLOUGH.
WHAT
IS TVMF: Thames
Valley Mosque forum ( TVMF) is an organisation of mosques of Thames Valley
working for the unity and moon sighting issues within the Muslims community
of Thames Valley,UK . It has around 30 mosques in its forums. Ullema and
management representatives work together to discuss and decide on the
crucial matter of moon sighting.
MEETING
AUG,08:A
meeting was organized on 9th August,2008 to discuss the moon sighting issues
, start of Ramadan and Eid matters. Imams and Trustees from different parts
of Thames Valley came to attend the meeting. It is a great achievement
towards unity of Muslims of UK on the issue of Eid.
On
Ramadan the forum decided "as it is difficult to sight to the moon on
31st of August in UK therefore we will rely on the sighting from
AKRA-BUL-BELLAD (nearest Muslim country), Morocco for sighting. Call your
nearest Masjid or visit alhira.com after 8pm in the evening. We will update
our website every 5min after 8pm.

SATURDAY at 8:15pm
Al-Hira's management has decided to arrange a weekly session of
understanding Quran in English. Now TAFSEER-UL-QURAN is done two
languages i.e. one in English and second one in Urdu. This program is arranged
to enable the English speaking Muslims and Non-Muslims to
understand the teachings of the Quran. Separate arrangement for ladies are
also made. Bring your friends and relatives to this informative program
every SATURDAY 8:15PM..
